Tauranga 2023

He Rangatahi He Anamata 2023 celebrated its fifth year in the region, returning to Tauranga Moana after traversing the rohe. 

 

Nearly 100 rangatahi Māori from 13 Bay of Plenty schools participated in this year's Summit, engaging in interactive workshops designed to explore business concepts focusing on environmental, social, or community needs. Alongside these workshops, attendees were inspired by three remarkable speakers. Ezra Hirawani, CEO and co-founder of Nau Mai Ra, emphasized the significance of clarity in purpose and staying true to one's identity and values. Influencer and TikTok sensation Patukino Williams shared insights on harnessing natural talents and aligning them with personal interests to achieve success. Renowned entrepreneur and creative artist Jay 'Phreaze' Chase, Owner of the Purple Lab, emphasized the importance of authentic communication and shared invaluable tips for business success. 

 

Throughout HRHA 2023, rangatahi showcased their innovation and leadership skills, developing business concepts aligned with the summit's themes of Purpose, Identity, and Communication, demonstrating their commitment to addressing critical community needs.
